 Hey there, everyone! Well, it is officially autumn, and we have made it through another week of football! I'm gonna come right out and be honest with you folks - this week was a little bit of a slow one. We had some rough injuries, some under-performances, and some players who seemed to just hit the snooze button during the Sunday games. But as Bob Dylan tells us, don't think twice, it's alright, y'all! The low weeks just let us appreciate the high ones that much more. Special congratulations to Panic and Snooze for being the only team that broke 120 points this week! And with that, let's get into those matchups. Well, as previously mentioned, the only team to get above that 120 mark was Panic and Snooze, who sailed to victory over East Side Believers. Apparently someone decided that this was gonna be the Comeback Kid week, because this time around it was all about making up those double digit deficits. We had the stunning return of the Cardinals against the Raiders, the shocking turnaround of the Dolphins over the Ravens, and the sudden yet inevitable snatching of defeat from the jaws of victory as the Browns blew a 13 point lead over the Jets. Just goes to show that NFL football is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get, and sometimes it's an onside kick that you just can't recover.  Hello again, all you wonderful people!  That crisp fall chill is in the year, and that can only mean one thing - NFL football is back! As predictable and ubiquitous as pumpkin spice everything, the new season is everywhere, folks. Week one featured grudge matches of quarterbacks playing their former teams, a slip-n-slide at Soldier Field, and more shanked kicks than you can shake a stick at. I don't know about y'all out there, but over here at Barbecue Sauce HQ, it just feels good to be home. As for the match-ups, we had not one, but two  teams coming out strong with over 170 total points by the time the ballots were counted Monday night.
